It is one of the most common cancers among men worldwide. Prostate cancer typically grows slowly and may not cause symptoms in its early stages. However, as the cancer progresses, it can cause symptoms such as difficulty urinating, frequent urination, blood in the urine or semen, erectile dysfunction, and pain in the pelvis, back, or hips.
